It's 2024! Welcome to the new year! We love new beginnings and fresh starts, and there's nothing that captures that feeling more than unwrapping a brand new calendar or planner, and writing in your plans and goals for the year. We've already set the dates for the majority of our 2024 events, and we can't wait to share those with you!
While our relationships with our clients are always a priority, we also highly value our relationships with our business partners as well as other agents. Many of our clients ask us to connect them with people who can help them through their real estate transaction, and beyond. From attorneys and mortgage lenders to home inspectors and surveyors, we have grown our list of people our clients (and team members) love to work with. We also have an extensive database of people who can help our clients and friends beyond their transactions - we know landscapers, house cleaners, home insurance providers, painters, contractors, and many other local professionals.
We also spend a lot of time nurturing our relationships with other agents, both those local to the Asheville are and those in other places. We pay a lot of attention to the areas where people are coming from when they move to Asheville, and where folks go when they leave here, and we have sought out some of the best agents in those areas, and beyond. So, if you have a friend or family member in a different city or state who is making a move - even if it's not to Asheville - we can help connect them with someone who will work as hard for them as we do for you.
A Peek Behind The Curtain
From a new business perspective, we've already been living in 2024 for a few months. Did you know that as of this week, we've actually completed 23% of our production year? While we always celebrate new clients and new contracts, our production and sales numbers are based on when contracts actually close, and we know that any contracts our agents win for their clients in November and December will likely close in the following calendar year. So, when we're doing our goal setting activities for our team and individual agents, we have it completed before the end of October each year, so that starting in November they can be setting up their successes for the following year. How's that for strategic thinking!?
We apply that same forward thinking when helping clients, so you may be curious why your agent wants to meet now, when your plans for making a move might not be for another few months. We know that certain aspects of the home buying and selling process take time, and we want to be sure you're ahead of the game and not trailing the pack when it comes to your own goals. Our goal is to help our buyer and seller clients have the most competitive edge in any market, and we'll make adjustments along the way to ensure you stay informed and are fully vested in your decisions.

Katie has been busy these last few months working on recruiting talented sales agents to our team, and her efforts have paid off! We're about to add several new team members, and we can't wait to introduce them - stay tuned on our Facebook page for more details coming soon!
Katie has also been busy these last few months growing a baby! She and her family will welcome a baby boy sometime in March, and we couldn't be more excited! Not to worry, the rest of the operations team is prepared to run the ship for a few months while she's at home spending time with the littlest Firefly - just look at the support she already has!
