Asheville Marathon & Half

The Firefly team had an amazing weekend being part of the Asheville Marathon & Half as a sponsor. On Friday, we met runners, vendors and volunteers at the race expo at the Doubletree Biltmore Hotel and had nearly 200 people sign up for our raffle - an amazing Asheville Staycation giveaway that included a 2-night stay at the Foundry Hotel in downtown Asheville, a $200 gift card to Benne on Eagle and a $200 gift card to Spa Theology, along with a basket full of locally made treats from Asheville Goods. We loved connecting with everyone we met! 

Saturday morning was a particularly early morning for team members Sara Little and Alona Pivovarevich as they got to the start line for the half marathon. While they were running through the beautiful course from downtown to the River Arts District, some of our youngest Fireflies were busy helping get waters on ice for the runners at the finish line at the Wedge at Foundation. 3-year-old Masie made a lot of participants smile as she gave out metals and water to finishers. We connected with more folks throughout Saturday and had a total f 223 sign up for the raffle!
