May 2023 Team Member Highlight: Lisa Markee

Lisa Markee is one of the newest members of the Firefly Realty team! Lisa started in early April, and has been full speed ahead ever since. Lisa's first experience with the Firefly team was actually back in 2021, when she and her husband relocated to Asheville from Philadelphia and bought their home through Firefly with Jordan as their agent. 

She said, "I had a very streamlined experience when buying my home with Firefly Realty. I wanted to learn how they mastered the client experience and to learn from the best. I saw firsthand how they stayed in touch and cared about their clients long after the sale.  Everyone I met on the team was so nice and I couldn't have imagined myself anywhere else!" 

We're so glad she felt that way, and aside from being an awesome client, Lisa also has a track record for sales. She's worked in marketing and sales since directly out of college, and she has sold real estate since 2016 in Philadelphia. Her specialties are home renovations, house flipping, multi-units, first-time home buyers and investment properties. She's always had an interest in the real estate market and a passion for homes, architecture, decor and interior design. 

Lisa's favorite thing about her job is finding the perfect home or investment for her clients, and she wants her clients to see that real estate can be much more than just a home; it is a tool for them to build wealth for their families. In fact, Lisa would absolutely love it if everyone who bought a home, also bought an investment property! 

Looking toward the future, Lisa's vision for Firefly is to be leading the Asheville market in both knowledge and transactions, and to help our current and past clients set real estate goals and achieve them. 

When she's not helping people's real estate dreams come true, Lisa along with her husband, dog, and baby son love traveling to see family in Maine, Pennsylvania, and Florida. When they're close to home, they can often be found around Main Street in Weaverville, exploring the woods, or enjoying the local music scene and breweries. 

We're so happy that Lisa has joined our team and can't wait to see what she'll achieve!
