Iva Phillips
Iva True brings a lifetime of Asheville roots and a career built on care, resourcefulness, and hands-on problem-solving to her work in real estate. Raised in the area from the age of one, she has spent more than two decades watching the region grow and change, giving her firsthand insight into its neighborhoods and evolving housing landscape. Before real estate, Iva worked on organic farms and regenerative land projects in the U.S. and abroad, spent years in early childhood and postpartum care, and ran her own small food business before working in local bakeries and kitchens. Each role required her to listen closely, negotiate practical solutions, and stay steady under pressure — skills that carry directly into guiding clients through a home purchase or sale. Recognizing the challenges many face with housing access in Asheville, Iva believes clear information and steady guidance can make all the difference. She focuses on first-time buyers, underserved communities, and clients drawn to sustainable and rural properties, with a strong commitment to protecting the region's farmland. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, foraging, and spending time outdoors.
