Spring is officially in full swing, and we couldn't be happier! In the last month or so, we've visited clients, celebrated big accomplishments, welcomed new team members, given back to our community and more!
At the end of April, the whole team set out and delivered nearly 300 jars of honey to local past clients! Whether you bought or sold a home with us this year, or way back in 2013, we want to let each of our clients know how much that means to us. If you didn't receive a gift but think you should, let us know! We will be mailing a gift to our clients who live more than an hour or so outside of Asheville, and we want to be sure we don't miss you for our next round of client gifts, so be sure we have your most up to date contact information.
Last week, we just finished our first big giveaway of the year, awarding a $350 gift certificate to Shoji Spa & Lodge to Barbara Schauer! Barbara was nominated by her son, Kipper, who said, " My mother is a selfless and loving beacon of light and joy, not only to my family but the community of yoga practitioners she serves in Weaverville." We loved receiving all of the heartfelt nominations - check out our Facebook Page to see some of the other sweet words for moms who were nominated for this prize.
On May 5, we attended the AVL Top 100 celebration, where we were honored to receive the award for being among the Top 10 real estate teams in all of Asheville for 2022 production (#6 to be precise!), and our very own Jordan Lockaby was recognized among the Top 100 individual agents. This is a huge accomplishment, with more than 1,300 agents in all of Asheville! We're thankful to the Kim Winters Team of Movement Mortgage for holding this celebration each year.
On May 8, we welcomed two new team members! Sydni Budelier and Lisa Markee both joined us as buyer's agents, and they have hit the ground running! We'll be featuring both Lisa and Sydni in upcoming newsletters so that you can get to know them a little better, so stay tuned for that. We are so thrilled to have them both, and we look forward to introducing them to our clients and friends at upcoming events.

On Thursday, May 11, we participated in Keller Williams' annual Red Day event, where agents and staff from Keller Williams offices worldwide head out into their communities to serve and give back. We were thrilled to once again partner with Homeward Bound to freshen up the landscaping at their Compass Pointe Village project. Click here for more details!
While all of that has been happening, we've also been selling houses! We have been encouraged to see our listing inventory pick up a bit over the last month or so, and our buyer clients are becoming more active as well.
