Firefly Realty October 2022 Team News
September was a busy month for the Firefly Team and October is proving to be even more full. The fall weather and splashes of color on the mountain trees are a great reminder to pause and appreciate the beauty of the area we call home.
Our hearts have gone out to all those impacted by Hurricane Ian. Several of our team members have family and loved ones in the South Florida area, and most of them fared relatively well; however, we are keenly aware of the widespread devastation and the lengthy road to recovery so many are facing. If you are looking for ways to help residents recover in the wake of the storm, this article lists several organizations that are offering aid to those affected by the storm.
Back on the local front, Firefly Realty recently sponsored the Cummings Cove Cares Golf Tournament in Hendersonville, which raised nearly $4,000 for the Hendersonville Free Health Clinic - it was an honor and so much fun to be part of this event!
This month, we will be sponsoring Hall Fletcher Elementary School's Fall Fletcher event - we're donating candy to the Trunk or Treat, and we're sponsoring a giveaway that will benefit the school's PTO fund. We're also holding a client appreciation event at Eliada on October 23 - we've had more RSVPs to this event than we have to any other, so we're looking forward to seeing all of our clients, friends and family there!
We are also proud to be sponsors of the Beaverdam Studio Tour of North Asheville on October 29 - 30. This event features tours of studios and homes of artists that are typically closed to the public - see artists at work creating ceramics, painting, jewelry, sculpture, textiles, paper art, photography and more. It is a self-guided tour, so check out the map and plan your weekend around supporting local artists.
In other exciting news, we have a new team member to welcome - Ashley Boykin has joined us as Showing Partner! Ashley has previous experience as a Realtor with Keller Williams in her home state of Alabama, and she has hit the ground running supporting our agents and our operations team - we are thrilled to have her!
