School may be back in session, but it still feels like Summer in the mountains - for now! As the calendar turns toward the fall, we have spent some time reflecting on our team's journey so far this year, and it's been a big one for us.
Just before the end of July, we closed on $1 million in GCI . To translate the real estate slang, GCI stands for Gross Commission Income, and it is the total amount of dollars in commission an agent receives from closing a sale before expenses and fees. This is one of the metrics real estate agents and teams use to measure success year over year, along with total sales volume and number of homes sold. To put it in perspective, in 2021, we hit that number in October. And, we are among only six teams in the history of Keller Williams Professionals in Asheville who have ever hit that number in one year. To date, we've closed 84 homes this year, with a total sales volume of more than $35 million. Data like this is what landed us in the top 10 real estate teams in all of Asheville in 2021. On the event front, we were thrilled to donate more than $500 in school supplies to Eblen Charities' Tools For Schools supply drive, and there's still one week left to vote for your favorite Firefly coloring sheet in our Coloring Contest for kids!
